80G receipts, Form 10BD and 10BE — explained simply
Since FY 2021-22, every trust claiming 80G must report its donations to the Income Tax Department:
- Form 10BD — an annual statement of all donations received, filed by the trust (typically by 31 May for the previous financial year).
- Form 10BE — the donation certificate the trust issues to each donor, which the donor uses to claim their 80G deduction.
